The School Pulsations Along of Stellar Evolution, will be carried out in La Plata, Argentina, at the Facultad de Ciencias Astronómicas y Geofísicas, also known as the Astronomical Observatory of La Plata.

The theoretical classes will be taught at the Meridian Hall (Salón Meridiano), where lectures and thesis defenses are usually held. This historical building, that housed different meridian telescopes, has been remodeled to be used as a conference room.

The practical classes will take place in the computer room. This is a classroom equipped with 25 desktop computers and network services for laptops. The desktop computers will be available for students, but it is recommended that they bring their own laptops.

How to arrive?

Most of the international flights to Argentina arrive at the Ministro Pistarini International Airport (EZE) also known as Ezeiza International Airport, located 32 km from the city of Buenos Aires and 85 km from the city of La Plata.

From the airport, there is a bus service to La Plata. Tickets can be purchased inside the airport at the Manuel Tienda León stand (WhatsApp number: +54-911-5450-9599).

There is also a private car service with driver (called remis), several stands can be found inside the airport. Outside the airport, there are some taxi ranks (white cars with blue roof).

In Argentina, the Uber service is working but not yet legislated, so there could be problems with it. In the arrival halls, several people usually offer transportation, however, care must be taken since thwse services are not regulated.
